Abstract

Teenagers are an important asset for the country. They need to be formed to be leaders of the country. Nowadays, demoralization is a big issue discussed among people according to recent scenarios. Proactive efforts need to be taken so that the problems will not be abandoned. Realizing the issue,leaders of this country have taken action to develop human capital as an agenda that needs to be given immediate attention. This writing discusses the Islamic and western approaches in dealing with the issue of morals. Both have a basis in strengthening unwavering moral character of teenagers so that both can be applied up to the adult age.The Western approach stresses the Behavioral approach, Treat Personality theory and Humanistic approach. Wile thc Islamic approach stresses the principles of al-Quran and al-Sunnah as a source of human development which are in parallel with human nature.From the basis, the main concepts of strengthening human capital will be explored by the concepts of al-din, Worship and al-Tauhid. The understanding of the concepts will produce people that have a clear world view.
