The articles published in this volume addressed issues that related to several sectors, including manufacturing, health, food, education and tourism. The first chapter addresses approaches related to the World Class Manufacturing. The principles underlying the safety and health laws in three different countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore and the United States of America are discussed in the second chapter. Chapter 3 is devoted to discussing the prospects of Malaysia in becoming a global halal food hub. Hierarchy-of-effect-model in the Higher Education Advertising and the different aspects of nurses’ quality of work life are addressed in Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 respectively.
