The articles published in this volume addressed issues that related to several sectors, including manufacturing, health, food, education and tourism. The first chapter addresses approaches related to the World Class Manufacturing. The principles underlying the safety and health laws in three different countries, namely Malaysia, Singapore and the United States of America are discussed in the second chapter. Chapter 3 is devoted to discussing the prospects of Malaysia in becoming a global halal food hub. Hierarchy-of-effect-model in the Higher Education Advertising and the different aspects of nurses’ quality of work life are addressed in Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 respectively. Subsequently, Chapter 6 specifically presents the mediating role of moral obligation on the relationships among job satisfaction, organisational commitment and intention to leave. Finally, the last chapter deliberates on the important issues confronting the Malaysian tourism industry, namely sustaining the arrival of incoming foreign tourist and the image of Malaysia as a travel destination.
