The study aims to identify the regularly implemented 3L programmes in UniSZA that are well-received by the local community, as well as to examine the effectiveness and the challenges faced in trying to make the programmes beneficial to the locals. Results show that both selected courses: Quran Recitation Class and Arabic Class received and overwhelming response from the local community. Most participants of these courses expressed gratitude and delight with the 3L programmes organized by UniSZA. The effort shown by committed and competent instructors contributed favourably to the learning process. Two main challenges faced in the 3L programmes in UniSZA incvlude time constraints and lack of competent instructors.
