Abstract

The theory of soft set proposed by Molodtsov is a new method for handling uncertain data and can be defined as a Boolean-valued information system. Current techniques with regards to the Boolean-valued information system that sought to identify missing attributes either fall short in identifying the missing attributes or involve a very lengthy process. In this paper, we are proposing another technique using the decimal values representation in calculating the missing values in soft set theories. The proposed algorithm, known as decimal technique provides a simple and faster alternative in the process of identifying missing attributes in a Boolean-valued information system
